Easter...Floral Blazer

Hi everyone!!! It seems like forever since I 've posted!! I have been sooo sick, Yes Again...!! I had a sinus infection last month but obviously it didn't clear up completely and as soon as my immune system got low that dang infection crept back in. I've always felt like that I take pretty good care of myself but I'm trying to do a better job by making some drastic changes to my daily regimen. I am up and feeling much better...Thank you Jesus!!! I am so grateful to God and the sacrifice he made and gave to all of us  over two thousand years ago!!! I woke up this morning excited to head down to the Cannon Center where three Fellowship Memphis locations joined together under one roof! God showed up and showed out in the Cannon Center today. Bryan Loritts, head pastor of "Fellowship Memphis", delivered a fiery message on that sacrificial gift that Jesus so freely gave to all of us!!! I know that I 'm incapable of doing and being anything without HIM!!!! Extremely thankful that "He is mine and I am His" !!!!  Sooo, It has been raining off and on all weekend but I  didn't let that stop me from dressing  like Spring is in the air. I got  up early to figure out what I would be wearing today. I knew I wanted to feel whimsical so  I paired this Zara Floral Blazer from last Spring with a Sheer Royal Blue Maxi dress from a couple of years ago to head to church on Easter Sunday. Check it out...!

The Sun finally came out.....!!
It's been a challenging first few months of the year...Which lets me know that God has great things
in store...! I can't wait!!

Birthday Girl!!!

Hey Guys, I know that this post is late!! But as the old adage goes, better late than never!! My birthday was exactly ten days ago and I have literally been Ripping and Running since my big day. Birthdays are soooo special to me!!!  Birthdays symbolize that special day that God blessed the world with you!!  That's why I love celebrating birthdays. I feel so blessed to have another year to draw nearer to God and become a better person. I look at Birthdays as being your own personal New Year! I am sooo grateful to have another year to do things better than I did last year.  Although, I had to work on my big day, I made the most of it!  I refuse to sweat the small stuff and smiled the entire day!! My wonderful husband took me to dinner that evening and "The Birthday Girl "celebrated with friends and family that Friday night. Check out my outfits for both days.
So I blew my hair out and wore a navy wrap dress from the Gap , Jessica Simpson Raspberry Pumps and a necklace I picked up in Chicago a few years ago on my birthday!

I bought these American Apparel Easy  Jeans a few months ago and decided to wear them on my bday.
The only complaint I have about these jeans is that after wearing the medium (they didn't have a small)
for a couple of hours , they stretched out sooo much.
I purchased the same pair in the darker color in a small and they fit much better.
I was looking for a cute crop top to wear with these jeans but I couldn't find one to no avail.
So I took this lace fitted top from Urban Outfitters that was in my closet and cut the bottom off to make it crop.
I am very creative and I will find a way to make an outfit work.
My Shoes are Miu Miu and they are so comfortable!
I want them in more colors!:)

Ready to head out!
Blurry but we had sooo much funTia , Moi, and Mary...!

Meko and I  sooo much fun!!!
Making a Wish!!!

My sweet girl gave me this beautiful necklace from  Anthropologie for my bday !!!!

Orange, Leopard and Oh Royal

Hey guys I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. I had a pretty laid back weekend myself. I went to work, the gym and  took in a movie on Friday with the hubs.  On Saturday I hit the gym up, did a little grocery shopping and caught up on episodes of  "Downton Abbey".  If you are a fan of Literary Fiction than you would  absolutely love this show. You can watch the first season on Netflix, the second season on the PBS website and the show on Sundays nights on PBS. We went to church today, lunch and back home to prepare for the week.  I wanted to share with you guys  another one of the outfits from my "Weekly Planning Post". I wore this Orange Sweater Dress, Royal blue belt, and Leopard pumps a couple of Mondays ago before I got sick. What do you think? Let's Chat about it.  I hope you have the best week ever.  Also my birthday is this Thursday.... So I'm pretty excited!!!

Hey guys I really appreciate your comments...xoxo MotifMana
