Patio dining is a summer standard and what better way to enjoy it  than chatting it up and
testing out a new patio with one of my besties?! Per usual, Quita and I set out to try out a "new to us" restaurant in the downtown Memphis area.  This time it was, "Sweet Grass" in "Cooper Young". The food was really good and the ambiance was very laid-back.  I finally got around to wearing these vintage hot pink shorts gifted to me by my friend Chasity a couple of years ago.  Bright Colors like Orange and Pink always pair nicely together on top of being SUPER fun. Definitive of the evening spent with Quita!:)

Wild and windy describes this day to a T. My hair was still very curly and bouncy and the wind was blowing it  all over the place. I didn’t mind much because I don’t get it straightened that often plus that also describes what’s going on in my head most of the time. I’m constantly dreaming of being on the beach or at some festival like Coachella or Lollapalooza. My summer style is reminiscent of that as well, kinda like the 60’s.You know that Woodstock era, where I’m always wearing: big sunnies, gladiator sandals, crop tops, knotted tanks, full-skirts, sundresses, cut offs and flip-flops. While lying on the beach sun-bathing, reading, sitting by a lake basking in the moment, jamming it out to my favorite singers/bands at a concert, dancing on a rooftop, dining on the patio with my favorite people or simply fishing off of some bank in the middle of nowhere with my husband. Now that’s an ideal situation!! Being outside and during outdoorsy things is a never-ending euphoria. All I want to do is wear easy breezy pieces and blow across the wind just like wildfire:)
I picked up this boho crop top last summer that can be worn more than one way from
Urban Outfitters. This lightweight denim skirt is from Forever 21 and is no longer available online. However, you still may be able to find it in the store. My gladiator sandals are Diesel and they’re also no longer available. However, there are similar pieces like these everywhere!:)
Music is also HUGE for me and I don’t know how I forgot to mention it in my Free People post but it  brings me so much freedom and makes me feel alive.
So, here are two of my favorite songs that are titled Wildflower. I love both of these songs and they have been on constant rotation in my car over the last couple weeks.
“WildFire"by John Mayer and “WildFire" by Seafret!!

For the last six years, I’ve been practicing Bikram Yoga. I am so grateful that I found this practice.
There are so many misconceptions about yoga, and many people believe that Christians shouldn’t do yoga at all. Well, I vehemently disagree with that. I am a Christian and I would never denounce Christ for any exercise. I am not saying that Bikram is about Christ (I am about Christ) and that means spreading his love wherever I go. We do not chant in Bikram or worship other gods ; our focused is on breathing properly. We do the same 26 postures along with two breathing exercises. All of the postures have medicinal and healing benefits. Bikram Yoga has allowed me to make friends all over the country. There is a Bikram Yoga studio in almost every city and country around the world. So, I never have any excuse to not do yoga and that's how I like it.
Fast forwarding to last Saturday, I attended a going away celebration for the best Bikram Yoga teacher that I’ve ever had the privilege to practice under. There is so much that I can say about Mirna (sounds like Mitna). First of all she is so positive, patient and encouraging. She pushes you to work extremely hard while applauding all of your efforts. She is matter fact in the kindness way and her personality along with her  energy is just infectious! I hate that I didn’t get to spend more time practicing under her however, I am grateful for the time that I did. I’m sure our paths will cross again!:)))
Mirna guided many of us Yogis in a demonstration last month outside in front of a live audience.
I was so honored to be apart of the event!!

Yellow is that one color that screams Spring and Summer! It is the color of sunflowers, daffodils and sunshine.Yellow is the symbol of courage, happiness and optimism!:)) Hence, the reason I wore this yellow dress to the one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever been to (cousins Jason and Gina's). If you follow me on social media, you know I mentioned how perfect everything was. You may ask, what made it so perfect? Well it was just really sweet, classy and genuine. Coincidentally, I didn’t know the wedding colors would be exactly what I was wearing. I mean, I fit right in with the artsy theme!:)))
Jason and Gina: Two very talented artists!!

Spending three weeks on the East Coast enduring fluctuating weather caused me to make  EFFORTLESS wardrobe choices. I wore black almost every single day during this trip. No, I am not an all black girl, HECK I adore color!! However, I needed no fuss, simple
pieces, to make my life easier. We spent a lot of time walking and exploring the city. I got very little sleep but I enjoyed every bit of the time with my favorite girl!!!Okay, the weather was SUPER HOT the first week in DC ; in the 90s everyday (I loved it) !!! Then the second week it was cold, rainy and dreary every single day; in the 40s to 50s :((!!  Making it very hard to wear anything but warm comfy clothes since we were walking around visiting museums and etc.
By the time the weekend came, I was litterally jumping for JOY!! The dark clouds started to move out and we were heading to NYC!!! Yipeee!!
I’m carrying a Marc Jacobs Tote that I picked up from
Dillards last year for under 70.00 dollars!!
I loved everything about this outfit!!! Simply Effortless
Tshirt Dress: Urban Outfitters |Sandals: Diesel| Handbag: Moschino
Leggings and Cardigan  : Urban Outfitters | T-Shirt : Zara: This outfit was so necessary
for the chill that was in the NY air.
New York makes my heart flutter! The energy is AHmazinggggg!!!!
Ken and I enjoyed #TargetFirstSaturday at The Brooklyn Museum of Art. It was so exciting and felt like a huge party!!! If you’re in the area next month, check it out!!! Every first Saturday in the month from 5pm-11pm
Ken is wearing a WildFox sweatshirt and Vintage Levi cutoffs
We enjoyed visiting Hillsong Church in the BestBuy Theater in NYC!!
The message was awesome!!You must go the next time you are in the city!!
Subway Ride per everyday!!! I prefer public transportation over driving any day!!!
This jumpsuit was SUPER comfortable. I picked it from Sears earlier this year!:)))
All I need in cities like NYC and D.C are Bikram Yoga Studios, Running Shoes and Patio Dining!!!
#BikramYoga Dupont Circle
Running through the streets of D.C. is anything short of Amazzing!!! People were running and walking everywhere !!!
