I'm so glad that we've ditched the suits and pantyhoses for Sunday attire (well at least I have). Life has been, SOO MUCH easier since then (haha)! I absolutely love wearing maxis on Sundays in the Spring/ Summer to church or brunch. It literally makes feel like I don't have to put any real effort into finding a cute outfit. I picked up this " Paisley Maxi" last Spring while travelling. It was such a great steal and it fit SUPER cute, not to mention the details. I love the tie opening, the bubble sleeves and the two splits at the bottom. The details made it all the more feminine.  I just couldn't leave it in the store. Do you blame me?!

Pulling off this monochromatic look for Spring was easier than I thought it would be. Especially, since I didn't have theses wedges in mine to wear with this dress. I initially had some other shoes in mind but, I saw these and thought that they would pair well for a full monochromatic look!
Black, greys and whites are used more often for monochromatic looks but, this apricot maxi and dark camel wedges worked out great!! What do you guys think? Did I nail it?!

If you know me then you know, I love a two piece set. I wore this two piece set on an impromptu lunch date a few weeks ago. My top is actually a tunic and I'll probably wear it like that one day! But right now I'm loving the crop-knotted look!:))) I picked up this set last summer and it's the perfect, easy Spring outfit. Believe it or not, I hate ironing and this is one of those outfits that you can just throw on and keep going!

While travelling to NYC, make sure you stop by Red Roosters in Harlem. Last month my Bestie and I went to the swanky restaurant/lounge for a little post-birthday fun. We made reservations but, we were an hour late (HA)! Thankfully, they were still able to accommodate us. After being seated we ordered our food (the kitchen closes early so make sure you get there before 11 pm. that's if you want to eat) and engaged in small talk with a few other ladies. Then we headed to the dance floor to cut a rug before retreating for the night. We were totally pooped and operating on very little sleep but we still had a lot of fun!

A few weeks ago, my bestie and I stopped by the"MET" to see the latest exhibition.
It was pretty chilly outside so, we decided to shoot a few pics inside. I've been in love with pleated skirts for some time now and I absolutely love this silver metallic skirt that I picked up last Fall. I paired it with this amazing bomber that I'm completely obsessed with, pastel pink sandals and a white crop top to commemorate the beginning of Spring.
What I'm wearing: Metallic Pleated Skirt, Reversible Bomber, Crop Top,
Handbag (Zara) Sandals (Steve Madden)

You can never go wrong with denim on denim. Especially, when you're making a statement with this fabulous denim jacket that I picked up this past winter.
The bold graphics immediately caught my attention and I knew I had to have it.
Plus, the sherpa lining was perfect for a chilly Spring night.
I paired it with these high-waist, flare jeans and denim handbag for a total denim on denim look.
What I'm wearing: Graphic Denim Jacket and Jeans (Zara) T-Shirt (OldNavy)
Sneakers (Vans) Handbag (Vintage Christian Dior)
